Blackhawks Management Not Allowed to attend 2025 NHL Entry Draft

In a turn of events that's completely unexpected the 2025 NHL Draft will have the building open for fans, media, and NHL Prospects.

What won't they have room for? The brass of NHL front offices, like the Chicago Blackhawks. They won't be welcome to take part in the events and fanfare of the NHL draft this year like we've seen in the past in Las Vegas and Nashville.

Of course, we should expect Commissioner Gary Bettman to be there though. That hasn't changed.

The dates for the draft have been reported to take place on June 27th and 28th.

The 2025 "Upper Deck" NHL Draft will take place in Los Angeles, and this will be the second time the Blackhawks rivals have hosted the event.

The most bizarre thing along with the draft being named after the trading card company is that GM Kyle Davidson and the Blackhawks staff won't be present to give their draft picks their jerseys.

They won't be able to give them an official welcome to the league while shaking their hands.

The human element of the event has been dismembered by the NHL, and obvious all-too-corporate influences driving the drastic changes.
