Blackhawks Organization Issues Statement On Kendrick Lamar's Super Bowl Performance

The Chicago Blackhawks had a special announcement after last night's electrifying Super Bowl, which featured rapper Kendrick Lamar.
Lamar was featured as the Super Bowl's half-time performer and would entertain the crowd with "Not Like Us".
The song made the waves as a diss to Toronto-born rapper Drake. It generated controversy over the years as the feud between the two reached its peak.
Needless to say, it was unexpected for Kendrick Lamar to perform this hit alone, when his catalog is full of great songs.
The Blackhawks organization was so excited after the performance by the hip-hop artist they've decided to cut the prices on beverages in Rockford.
Other NHL organizations aren't like them, as on Valentine's Day the IceHogs will sell beer at $2 bucks apiece.
The team will face off against the Chicago Wolves, and well you better have a designated driver, or another form of transportation that night!
And just like Kendrick Lamar, the Blackhawks prospect pipeline isn't like others in the NHL.
It was ranked #1 in the NHL by The Athletic's Scott Wheeler in 2024, and the talent continues to rise through the ranks.
And this year nothing has changed:
Wheeler has been releasing the next team on the list every day for almost a full month now. On Wednesday morning his list arrived at No. 4
The Blackhawks have one of the best talent pools in the league, and you can see them take on the Chicago Wolves in Rockford on Valentine's Day, while the Hawks are off due to the Four Nations Face-Off.
Kendrick Lamar's half-time show was electrifying, as was the Philadelphia Eagles' decisive 40-22 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs.
