GM Kyle Davidson has finalized the Blackhawks off-season by securing two young players today.

Both will be headed to AHL Rockford, after having gotten good looks in the NHL this season. They proved to the team they are part of the Blackhawks' future.

Davidson would sign both defenseman Isaak Phillips and Louis Crevier, to league minimum($775K) contracts, with a two-way, one-year term.

Phillips and Crevier saw a lot of minutes in the NHL last season due to the mass amount of injuries that hit the club in 2023-2024.

Both will be heading to training camp soon, and since the Blackhawks signed TJ Brodie and Alec Martinez, its unlikely that they'll get the same kind of look as they did last year in the bigs.

6'3" Phillips played 33 games with the Blackhawks last season scoring 6 points, and would play 29 games in Rockford, posting 14 points( 4 G, 10 A). Phillips was drafted by the Hawks in the fifth round( 141st overall) in the 2020 NHL Draft.

Crevier being 6'8" is the tallest player in the Blackhawks organization, making his NHL debut against the rival, Minnesota Wild on Dec 3rd, 2023, and would play in 24 regular season NHL games.

Crevier would play 41 games in the AHL, scoring 11 points(3 G, 8 A), and was drafted in the seventh round(188th overall) of the NHL draft in 2020.
