It was a sight from the past and the present as former Blackhawks star defenseman Duncan Keith took on Red Wings legend Pavel Datsyuk during the hockey Hall of Fame legends classic.

The game took place on Sunday November 10th where former NHL legend Eric Lindros's team faced off against hockey Hall of Fame player Jayna Hefford's squad. Keith who was on team Lindros was accompanied by this year's hockey Hall of Fame inductee and former Blackhawks legend Jeremy Roenick along with Tony Amonte.

After putting on a show to the Toronto crowd, the final score for the game was Team Hefford 9 to team Lindros 7.

Keith is a legend with Blackhawks as he was drafted by the organization back in 2002, second round 54th pick overall. His playing career with the Blackhawks began in 2005 and stressed all the way to 2021 where he spent one year with the Edmonton Oilers before he stopped playing. He was instrumental with the team as he helped them when 3 Stanley cups during the 2010's winning the Conn Smythe trophy in 2015 as he scored the winning goal against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

He also has 2 gold medals where he won in 2010 and in 2014 along with a silver medal at the World Championships back in 2008.

Many have felt that Keith will be a shoe in for the hockey Hall of Fame in 2025 as there is a star-studded cast of players that are eligible. There's no doubt in my mind that Keith should be in there as soon as possible and Blackhawk fans along with the rest of the NHL will have to wait and see who will be called next year.
