The Chicago Blackhawks player, Artyom Levshunov, has been punished by the AHL's Rockford IceHogs team after violating team rules.

Artyom Levshunov was granted No. 2 overall pick by the Blackhawks this past year, in hopes he would be suitable for their ongoing challenge of becoming a new and improved team.

This season has been brutal for the team, but with new players drafted, fans are hanging onto optimism, hoping this leads the Hawks to yet another dynasty moving forward.

Connor Bedard, along with other top picks in Chicago have been expected to play a massive role for the teams overall improvement, one of them being 19-year-old, Artyom Levshunov, the Blackhawks No. 2 overall draft pick of 2024.

Within the 2024-25 season, the 19-year-old is off to a decent start with the Rockford Ice Hogs, with 2 goals and 11 points in 31 games.

Despite Levshunov battling to find his rhythm, he is steadily gaining confidence and developing just as the Blackhawks's front office hopes for.

However, this past weekend, people have noticed the absence of Levshunov in the IceHogs' line-up, this led to concerns as it was noted that he was scratched for the IceHogs recent game.

He was removed from the lineup due to being late for the IceHogs' team meeting.

Top NHL Insider Frank Servalli speaks out on behalf of Artyom Levshunov's absence and reassures fans.

Although, we should expect Chicago's top defensive prospect at their upcoming game, forwards Joey Anderson and Paul Ludwisnki were also healthy scratched at the same time as Artyom Levshunov.

We can hope this is due to Anderson and Ludwisnki also arriving late to the meeting, but there has been no update on these two-key-players.
