The game misconduct happened at 10:30 into the 2nd period when Martin Pospisil recklessly sent Hall into the boards.
Pospisil jumped into the hit and obliterated Hall, shoving him into the glass with his shoulder.
Needless to say, it was a brutal "play" which we've seen Pospisil do before, as he has nothing to offer the Flames, other than being a goon.
Something Matt Rempe can't even say anymore, as he's learned his lesson after boarding Miro Heiskanen.
The play happened as the Flames were up 4-1 over the Hawks in the United Center tonight.
The Flames' game misconduct gave the Hawks a chance to halve the score on the power play.
Which Connor Bedard took care of masterfully, as he notched his 100th point this season.
While the Blackhawks succumbed to another brick in the road along the way, Anders Sorensen and Bedard did their part to bounce back on what has been a honestly, mediocre performance.
This isn't Pospisil's first offense; he boarded the Winnipeg Jets Josh Morrisey last season and the Seattle Kraken's Vince Dunn.
It's up to the Department of Player Safety to correct his behavior, and protect players like Taylor Hall who are in the twilight of their careers.
Good riddance to bad rubbish.
