Sean Higgins' Legal Troubles Deepen with New Info on Charges in Gaudreau Brothers Case
Drunk driver who murdered Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau faces serious jail time and the details are spilled
The hockey world took a major hit last week, one so big that it may truly never recover. The hockey world lost brothers Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau, both fathers and loved by many around, when they were struck by a drunk driver (Sean Higgins) while going for a bike ride one day before their sisters wedding.
Higgins, who is 43 years of age, remains in jail until his hearing on September 13th, and according to a person familiar with law, Higgins is facing much more time than just a week.
The user shared on X (formerly Twitter) that Higgins is facing two counts of vehicular homicide, with those two charges Higgins could see himself behind bars for 20 years.
Higgins could reportedly have a cash bail set between $50,000-$100,000.
For the lives of two young souls, 20 years- or any sentence, will justify the pain endured to the families affected by this tragedy.
