GM Don Sweeney infamously snubbed Connor Bedard, as he didn't make the Four Nations Face Off roster this season, he's what he's thought about the tournament so far.

Connor Bedard is a generational talent in the NHL, despite what Team Canada GM Don Sweeney thinks.
In 55 games for the Blackhawks, he's produced at almost a point-per-game pace at 49 ( 16 G, 33 A) and shows no signs of stopping.
Yet, this year he wouldn't suit up with his idol Sidney Crosby to play for Canada thanks to GM Don Sweeney.
He'd be left off the team's roster in favor of Brandon Hagel, or Anthony Cirelli, while Jon Cooper got the nod as Head Coach.
The selections reek of recency bias, let's not lie.
And his comments while eliciting a response of humility, and enjoyment are underpinned by the fact that GM Don Sweeney went with players who are underperformers, like Cirelli.
Just because they won a cup in Tampa Bay doesn't make them an elite player like Bedard, who'd have fit perfectly on the team's 3C.
Cirelli has never posted above 45 points in a season, even during Tampa Bay's short, but sweet dynasty years.
In 79 games last season, he'd post 20 goals and 45 points, and the Lightning would fail to reach the promised land.
It seems Jon Cooper will once again fail to win the Four Nations Face-Off if he keeps making the mistake of keeping Jordan Binnington in the net.
It's just incompetency all the way down.
Connor Bedard deserves better, and so does Canada.
