You won't believe what 'Showtime' Patrick Kane pulled off for the Detroit Red Wings

Former Chicago Blackhawks forward Patrick Kane underwent a long recovery this off-season after having hip surgery, the specific hip surgery that Kane had is one that many athletes never recover from and lean their way into retirement.

Although there was lots of doubts about Kane's health heading into free agency in search for his next organization, Kane has since silenced the haters and proved hundreds wrong.

Kane has suited up for fifteen games this season with the Detroit Red Wings and has posted up a solid 14 points, contributing six goals and eighth assists, including a game-winning shootout goal just two weeks ago.

One game winning shootout goal on the season? Make that two, Patrick Kane's well-known nickname 'Showtime' comes to light when it's needed most, and it sure did in last night's game when the Red Wings took on the New York Rangers.

Not only did Kane have an assist to the teams game-leading goal, but he scored the winning shootout goal:

As the 35-year old veteran only continues to get better, Blackhawks fans can continue to be truly blessed that they received sixteen seasons of showtime in Chicago.
