Scary scene emerges involving Blackhawks' Connor Bedard
In last night's game between the Chicago Blackhawks and Philadelphia Flyers, there was a heart-stopping moment for Blackhawks fans that involved Blackhawks star forward Connor Bedard.
Fortunately, Bedard emerged unscathed, but the incident was tough to watch.
Just one month ago, Bedard underwent jaw surgery, leading him to wear a protective face shield during games. This precaution proved crucial as Bedard fell awkwardly to the ground and was accidentally collided with by a Philadelphia Flyers player.
Had Bedard not been wearing his facial shield, the outcome could have been much worse, potentially resulting in a serious jaw injury.
Once again, the Chicago Blackhawks narrowly avoided a disastrous situation, thanks to Bedard's precautionary measures.
