22-year old Henry Bradford passes away at age 22 following freak event

The hockey world continues to hurt this off-season, and sadly we have more unfortunate news to deliver.

A 22-year old Ducks goaltender has passed away unexpectedly.

The University or Oregon's hockey team, the Ducks announced the passing of their goaltender on their social media, sharing a sincere goodbye to the young man.

According to TheDailyEmerald , a cardiac arrest event took the young like of Henry.

"We are heartbroken to share that our Senior goaltender, Henry ''Hank'' Bradford unexpectedly passed away on Friday, September 20th 2024. Hank was an incredibly kind and thoughtful man with a contagious laugh and an amazing sense of humor. As great a goalie as he was, Hank was an even better human. He was the perfect example of treating people how you want to be treated, never missing an opportunity to call someone "sir or ma'am."

Hank, your mustache and last second splits will go down in Oregon hockey history forever. We'll miss you #1." The University of Oregon said.

The 22-year old goaltender, Henry Bradford, spent the last three years in Oregon with the Ducks, posting a 2-8-0 record.

Throughout this difficult time, thoughts, prayers and sincere condolences are sent to those affected by this tragedy.
