Charlie McAvoy 4 Nations Face-Off

Boston Bruins defenseman Charlie McAvoy is out for the remainder of the 4 Nations Face-Off tournament due to an apparent 'upper body injury', but he is still sending his best wishes out to his teammates.

The 4 Nations Face-Off finals are every hockey fans' dream, between the two-biggest rivaled countries in Team Canada and USA.
While Canada struggled with injuries early on in the tournament, with Shea Theodore and Cale Makar both being sidelined, it's unfortunately now Team USA's turn to deal with the injury bug.
USA's top defenseman Charlie McAvoy was hospitalized and deemed out for the remainder of the tournament.
McAvoy suffered a shoulder injury, and according to reports is now battling a post-treatment infection.

Bruins' McAvoy released from hospital

Charlie McAvoy, after days of being in a hospital has finally been released, and he wasted no time in taking the news to social media.
McAvoy stated he was 'free as a bird', referencing a song by Lynyrd Skynard, which is used for Team USA's goal song.
It's not just McAvoy absent and battling injuries, but fellow stars such as Brady Tkachuk, Auston Matthews and Matthew Tkachuk have all been absent from practice and are battling lingering injuries.
Puck drop is set for 8:00 p.m, buckle up hockey fans, for the projected biggest game in hockey history!
