39-year old hockey player unexpectedly passes away
Former London Knights Forward Logan Hunter Passes Away at 39
Logan Hunter, former forward for the London Knights, passed away at 39 after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer.
He spent five years in the OHL, earning 125 points and 527 penalty minutes in 289 games. Post-OHL, he played in the United Hockey League and OHA Senior league.
"He wasn't scared and tried to get things done and be physical," Knights GM Mark Hunter said. "He was a passionate young man who loved his family, his hockey, his wife and kids. It's been tough. You don't expect something like this. It's terrible. It's difficult for Dale (Logan's uncle and Knights head coach), but Ricky (Steadman) and Dylan (Hunter, Knights assistant coaches) grew up together from the time they were little guys all around the farm."
Knights GM Mark Hunter praised Logan's passion for family and hockey. The hockey community extends condolences to Logan's family and friends during this difficult time.
