The Chicago Blackhawks have found success in the absence of Seth Jones in the lineup, leading us to ponder if he was the issue all along.

The Chicago Blackhawks look like a new team in the NHL after they've made some trades this week.
The first big trade that occurred for the team was when the Chicago Blackhawks sent Seth Jones, and a 2026 4th-round pick to the Florida Panthers for goalie Spencer Knight and a 2026 1st-round pick in return.
Spencer Knight has shown he's a remarkable netminder and helped lead the way to the Blackhawks' victory over the Los Angeles Kings, and like Bedard, he always gives the team a chance to win.
"I've been here the last four years through probably the darkest times the Blackhawks have seen for a while," Jones said. "I think things are moving up, they are moving forward, but I think my timeline might be different

Now, with Jones absent, and Knight in the lineup they're now 3-0-1 in their last four games.
A stark contrast with Jones, who requested at the end of February, only to be rushed out to Florida in a quick turnaround.
Was Jones the toxic person in the locker room all along?
Jones suffered an injury at the beginning of the season which took him out of the lineup and led to a decrease in production.
In 42 games with the Hawks, he'd score 27 points ( 7 G, 20 A) and find himself on the end of fans in Chicago who weren't happy with his game this season and last.
Now, free of the the tank machine, he's now playing for the Florida Panthers who are missing Matthew Tkachuk.
Tkachuk is on LTIR and Davidson was generous enough to retain $2.5 million on Jones's salary cap for the next five years.
Isn't it funny how it all works out in the end, Jones returns to his former Blue Jackets compatriots in Florida, and the team benefits from cap manipulation.
