A 15 year Russian Goaltender Rushed To Hospital With Life Threatening Injury During Championship Game

In what should of been a fun day of hockey for two Russian minor league team's turned out to be horrific, but it could of been even worse.
During a minor league hockey tournament in Russia, two teenage teams were playing in the championship game this morning when a scary moment would take place, causing the end of the game as a 15 year old goaltender was rushed to hospital.
According to Sport24.ru, The 15 year old goaltender and his team were playing in the championship game, when the goaltender would take a skate to the neck that cut him open leaving him bleeding in his crease.
Witness say there was a huge pool of blood on the ice when the young goaltender was carried off the ice via a stretcher, he was then rushed to hospital by ambulance for emergency surgery to close up the cut to his neck.

Thankfully things are looking to be ok for the Young man as his health condition went from serious to stable condition. He's now recovering in the intensive care unit and is expected to make a full recovery.
