Alex DeBrincat Apart on One of The Weirdest NHL Goals Ever
Former Chicago Blackhawks player Alex DeBrincat assisted on what can only be described as one of the weirdest NHL goals ever seen. DeBrincat dumped the puck into the Ottawa Senators' zone, where it then deflected off the glass stanchion and landed directly onto his teammate's stick. The Senators' player then buried the goal to take a 1-0 lead just under half a minute into the game.
It was an odd bounce, but it paid off for the Senators in a big way. DeBrincat may have been on the opposing team, but his quick thinking and skillful play helped set up this unusual goal. It just goes to show that anything can happen in the game of hockey, and sometimes even the most unlikely bounces can lead to a goal.
