With the NHL's trade deadline less than five weeks away, many teams have to decide what's their best move heading into deadline day.
Many team's General Manager's will need to decide to be sellers or go all in and make some deals to improve their teams chances to make the playoffs and compete for the Stanley Cup.
With that said multiple trade propositions (mock trades) have been submitted from fans across the NHL, and one has surfaced that is very intriguing.
The trade would send Toews home to the Winnipeg Jets in return the Blackhawks would receive, veteran defensemen
Nate Schmidt, prospect
Chaz Lucius, a highly touted defensive prospect
Ville Heinola and a 2nd round pick.
This trade would benefit both teams, the Jets would get a much needed improvement and leadership with Toews heading into the playoffs, while the Blackhawks would get plenty of return for a player that might of re-signed somewhere else this summer.
