This Blackhawks defenseman could be out the door as soon as the Trade Deadline.

Jake McCabe's name has been a huge name that's been swirling around the trade market. Multiple teams have expressed interest in him. However, he has a seven team no-trade list, that includes six Canadian teams (Edmonton Oilers, Calgary Flames, Winnipeg Jets, Vancouver Canucks, Montreal Canadians, and the Ottawa Senators) but one, the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Jake is 29 years old and is from Eau Claire, Wisconsin. McCabe has 2 goals and 12 assists, totaling up to 14 points on the season. He has a +2. This is where things get interesting. McCabe has three more years left on his contract worth 4 million dollars per season. If Chicago were to trade him away, and retain half salary, they could get more in return, but would be retaining $2 million foir the next 3 seasons.

According to Frank Seravalli, the Toronto Maple Leafs, Edmonton Oilers, and Los Angelas Kings are interested in Jake. Edmonton would be interesting because they would have to convince Jake McCabe to waive his no-trade clause and go there. You may be able to get a little more in retrurn than what's fair from Kyle Dubas (Maple Leafs General Manager). And the Kings just plain need a defenseman.

If you retain half the salary on Jake McCabe, you could be able to get up to a first round pick in return.
