The Colorado Avalanche faced off against the red hot Tampa Bay Lightning who weren't so red hot this season, it seems as if the Tampa sun has burnt them toast as they fell to the Avalanche in game 6 of this years Stanley Cup Playoffs. The Lightning we're looking to make it 3 cups in 3 years straight, as well as Patrick Maroon's 4th cup, but that wasn't the case.

Players have put blood, sweat and tears, and heck even more blood into this years NHL playoffs! Multiple forwards have been revealed to have played through many injuries and suffering with certain things, but this Colorado Avalanche forwards injuries are unbelievable!

Andre Burakovsky, the forward is in his prime and pushed his Avalanche to win the cup with his offensive efforts, while playing on a BROKEN ANKLE! That was injured in the Edmonton Oilers series in round 3..

That's not all! Burakovsky also got surgery on his thumb that went unheard of, the Avalanche only made the majority of their injuries known after hoisting the cup.

That's what you call a dedicated hockey player!
