BREAKING: Blackhawks Youngster Set to Make Childhood Dream Come True Tonight
Exciting news for Blackhawks fans as forward prospect Jalen Luypen has been given a last-minute call to join the Rockford IceHogs in the AHL playoffs. The young forward is set to make his pro debut tonight and will be inserted into the IceHogs' lineup for Game 1 of their division semifinals series against the Texas Stars.
Luypen, who was signed by the Blackhawks as a free agent in March, has had an impressive junior career with the Edmonton Oil Kings of the Western Hockey League. The 20-year-old forward scored 14 goals and added 16 assists in 22 games this season before being signed by the Blackhawks.
With his call-up to the AHL, Luypen has reached a huge milestone in his career and Blackhawks fans will be eagerly anticipating his future development. It will be exciting to see how he fares in his pro debut and whether he can make an impact in the playoffs.
