BREAKING - Chicago Blackhawks officially find Corey Perry's replacement
Chicago Blackhawks Choose New Alternate Captain
After the Chicago Blackhawks let go of Corey Perry, there was a gap in leadership. It took some time, but the team has now selected Jason Dickinson as the new alternate captain.
Dickinson, a veteran in his second season with the Blackhawks, currently holds the second spot in goals and third in points for the team, despite being a third line player.
While the team doesn't have a captain at the moment, there's talk that Connor Bedard or Seth Jones might be named captain for the 2024-25 season.
