BREAKING - NHL Announces Hart Trophy Winner..
The Hart Trophy, formerly known as the Hart Trophy, is given to the National Hockey League's "player regarded most important to his team" every year. David Hart, the father of Cecil Hart, the longtime head coach of the Montreal Canadiens, donated the first trophy to the league in 1923.

Auston Matthews (Toronto):
Currently coming off a career high season in all categories, scoring a whopping 60 goals and recording 46 assists totalling for a large of 106 points while being a +20.
Connor McDavid (Edmonton):
Currently coming off a career high season in all categories when most thought the NHL's former MVP could not get any better, he sure did. Recording 44 goals and 79 assist totalling for a whopping 123 points and finishing with a +20 in the regular season.
Igor Shesterkin (New York Rangers):
This past season was his first in the NHL and he made a quick impact recording 36 wins out of 53 games played leaving him only totalling 13 losses all season long. He stopped 1,516 shots out of 1,622 shots against, letting in 106 goals throughout 53 games played totalling a 2.07 GAA.
