BREAKING: NHL Cancels One of Today's All-Star Game Events Last Minute
The NHL kicked off the All-Star weekend last night and it was quite the embarrassing showing, which what seemed to look like more empty seats than fans in attendance. Did Gary Bettman expect there to be a huge crowd in Florida?
Well, it seems as if things have gotten worse. They are now canceling an event that was supposed to take place today. The NHL has decided to cancel the NHL All-Star Game Beach Festival event that was supposed to take place today for fans and viewers.
The National Hockey League today announced that due to severe weather conditions, including dangerous winds with gusts up to 40 m.p.h., the Truly Hard Seltzer #NHLAllStar Beach Festival is closed today.
The NHL Public Relations team announced a few hours ago that the event will only be delayed, but that's proven false as it's now canceled as a whole.
