BREAKING: Patrick Sharp Finds a New Job Days After Walking From The Blackhawks
The Philadelphia Flyers have appointed Patrick Sharp as Special Advisor to Hockey Operations, as announced by General Manager Daniel Briere.
Sharp was just informed by the Blackhawks last week that Darren Pang would be the new commentator, taking his place.
The addition of Sharp brings a wealth of knowledge and a winning mindset to the team.
President of Hockey Operations Keith Jones expressed confidence in Sharp's ability to create a winning environment at all levels.
"In adding Patrick Sharp to our group, we are gaining an individual who has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to building an environment of winning at all levels," said President of Hockey Operations Keith Jones. "Patrick knows what it takes to win, he understands how to convey that to our players and is a relationship maker. He will be a vital component as we continue to build the foundation of the Philadelphia Flyers."
"I am proud to announce the addition of Patrick Sharp to our hockey operations team," said Briere. "Patrick is a well-established veteran on-and-off the ice and his incomparable hockey knowledge will be a valuable asset to our organization and young prospects."
As a well-established veteran, Sharp's hockey expertise will be a valuable asset to the organization and its young prospects. In his new role, Sharp will work closely with Briere, focusing on player development and contributing to all aspects of the Flyers' hockey operations department. With an impressive career as a three-time Stanley Cup Champion and extensive international experience, Sharp's influence is expected to shape the team's future success.
