Sidney Crosby is known as one of the best players of all time, if not, some may argue he is the ''goat'' (greatest of all-time), and it is hard to disagree in some categories.
''Sid the kid'' has been dominant in all aspects of the NHL and has a very good mix of offensive and defensive talent, making him one of the best 200-foot forward to play the game.
The first overall pick in 2005 has played 1,125 games since then and has tallied up a insane amount of points, 1,430!
But what if the Penguins fan favourite, and arguably the best player in the league wanted to finish his career elsewhere??
A twitter account by the name of ''Hockey Insiderr'' has posted many accurate trade predictions and reportedly has a trusted source linked with the NHL, but he will not disclose who.
He recently made a posting stating that his trusted source received news on Sidney Crosby, and how he wants to finish his career with a team nobody expected...
The report stated the following:
''#BREAKING_NEWS according to source close to Sidney Crosby , the #pens captain would «love to finish his career with the Montréal #canadiens «. Sid is under contract for 3 more years with Pittsburg and will be 38 when it expires.''
The insider also reported he is in hopes to play into his 40's, and after his contract in Pittsburgh expires in three more years he's in hopes to live his Canadian dream and play for the Canadiens, just check out his childhood photo below:
Do you believe this inside source? They have been right about many things, but time will tell..
