Bergerons' Conversation with Thompson was Not a Compliment
Patrice Bergeron is the leader for the Bruins. On and off the ice, Bergeron is an example of what the Bruins organization expects of its players.
In a video that surfaced from the Bruins vs Sabres game, it seemed that Bergeron was giving Thompson a nice compliment.
People believed that Thompson was receiving a compliment for his nice goal earlier in the game.

Well apparently it wasn't a compliment. According to reports, Bergeron was actually asking Tage Thompson about his wife, who had a mass removed from her leg a few years ago.
Thompson will remember that act from Bergeron for the rest of his life I bet.
Bergeron is a gritty player on the ice, but that doesn't mean he isn't a good person.
