As the trade deadline nears all eyes are on the Chicago Blackhawks and which players they opt to move. The Blackhawks are entering a full rebuild and that means no player is off limits, despite what management says. This week we received some injury updates on some of the Blackhawks players and possible trade deadline pieces.

Jonathan Toews remains in concussion protocol, but has skated multiple times before Blackhawks practice.

Tyler Johnson underwent similar neck surgery to Jack Eichel in December, and has begun his return as he was a full participant in practice this week.

Reese Johnson, broken clavicle, is slowly returning to the lineup. This week he participated in practice wearing a non-contact jersey.

Kevin Lankinen appears to be nearing a return as he took the ice on his own. Lankinen will be a key part of the Blackhawks, should they trade Marc-Andre Fleury before the deadline.

Jujhar Khaira still requires tests on his injured back.

"His back is one of those things where you can go either way with it. We're not sure what's going on there exactly. I don't know if surgery is on the table." - Derek King

Riley Stillman (Shoulder) suffered a setback when he began skating this week, but is expected back by the end of February.
