Former Chicago Blackhawk Brandon Hagel scored his first career playoff goal in game two against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Hagel found himself in the crease for a tap-in off the rebound. The goal came in the third period and gave the Lightning a 4-1 lead in the game. Definitely a big goal as the Lightning needed to have a nice bounce back game after their lackluster performance in game one. Nice to see Brandon Hagel contributing to that effort.
Check out the goal below:
As I'm sure you remember, Hagel was traded to the Lightning at the deadline earlier this year for two draft picks, along with Taylor Raddysh and Boris Katchouk. Hopefully this first goal will give him some momentum going into the rest of the series to find the back of the net a few more times.
