The Calgary Flames have been the talk of the town on social media lately. After the Flames would lose their best two players in Johnny Gaudreau, and Matthew Tkachuk, Flames fans morale has been pretty low.
Well we got some good news to share that will hopefully cheer you up! The Calgary Flames announced they have re-signed forward Andrew Mangiapane.
The 26 year old would agree to a three-year $17,400,000 million dollar deal, with a annual salary of $5,800,000 million dollars.
Mangiapane had a kick ass season scoring 35 goals, and 55 points in 82 games.
The Flames drafted Mangiapane back in the 2015 NHL draft in the 6th round 166th overall.
Mangiapane will have to bring it again next season as he will have a much bigger role to play now.
