Connor Bedard wins huge CHL award and Makes history
Fans and scouts have been left in awe by Connor Bedard's exceptional performance this season. The Regina Pats player scored an impressive 71 goals and 72 assists, resulting in 143 points in the WHL, surpassing his prior 100-point season.
Despite being a smaller center at 5'10", Bedard's high hockey IQ and excellent release have earned him well-deserved accolades.
Unsurprisingly, he is considered the favorite to be the 1st overall pick in the 2023 NHL Entry draft.
Recently, Bedard was named the CHL Player of The Year, further solidifying his position as the consensus #1 pick.
His talent has drawn sellout crowds of up to 17,000 in WHL arenas where he played this season.
The right-handed shot hails from Vancouver and is destined for great things in the NHL. Congratulations to the future Chicago Blackhawk!
