The Chicago Blackhawks season has been quite the rough one out of the past few, and something needs to be done to fix it. Well, newly hired general manager Kyle Davidson has made it clear the team will be rebuilding, as well as their most recent hiring of a former Cubs front office staff-they are prepared for a patient rebuild that may take "some time" they say.
With the youth and prospects the Blackhawks have such as Reichel, Each, Kurashev, Vlasic, Regula and more-who will be their mentor throughout their rebuild? Jonathan Toews's injuries are catching up, and he will not have many years left. Patrick Kane seems to have a few left in him or multiple, but he is not a all-around player to help develop our youth.
