Disappointing News Regarding The Chicago Blackhawks' Top Prospect: Won't be seeing the NHL anytime soon
Scott Powers, writer at The Athletic, dropped some news on Lukas Reichel.
Lukas is 20 years old, and was a first round pick in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft. The German stands at exactly 6 feet tall and weighs 170 pounds. He has played 4 games with the Blackhawks this season and has 3 points, also scoring his first career NHL goal in that stint. Last season, Lukas had only one point in 11 games, so he is already improving.
Well, Davidson may not feel the same way with this tweet.
It looks like he'll stay down in the AHL for the rest of the season. Reichel has 46 points in 50 games for the Icehogs this season. However, he has not been playing too great recently. Ever since he's been sent back down, it seems like he is trying to do too much, making quick and careless decisions with the puck.
But, I have no doubt Lukas will be great when his time comes, most likely next season, when he gets his call to come play in Chicago at the United Center.
