Huge Brawl Breaks Out in Tampa Bay Lightning vs Toronto Maple Leafs Game
During a recent game between the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Toronto Maple Leafs, things got heated after Lightning player Brayden Point was hit by Maple Leafs defenseman Morgan Rielly, causing him to crash hard into the boards and clutch his ribs in pain.
Lightning teammates quickly jumped in to defend Point, delivering blows to any Maple Leaf in sight. This included Auston Matthews, who appeared foolish in his attempt to "fight" Lightning player Steven Stamkos. The chaotic scene was captured on video and can be viewed on Twitter via these links:
Everyone is hoping that Brayden Point is okay after the incident, and the NHL will likely be reviewing the situation to determine if any penalties or suspensions are necessary.
