The way Dylan Strome's season started this year was definitely not ideal. Not only did former head coach Jeremy Colliton constantly healthy scratched him. And when he did play him, more often than not it was on the the third or fourth line with players he clearly had no chemistry with. However, once Colliton left and Derek King finally decided to put Dylan Strome on the top line with guys like Patrick Kane and Debrincat.
Because of that, Dylan Strome was able to set a new career high in goals in the Blackhawks most recent home game against the San Jose Sharks. He scored his 21st goal of the season, beating his previous record of 20 which he set back in the 2018-19 season. Which was also the season he was traded from Arizona to Chicago.
