Patrick Kane was on the receiving end of a boarding hit by Wild forward Tyson Jost in the latest matchup between the Hawks and Jets.
And while Kane got up without issue, his linemate Max Domi took issue with the hit on the Hawks superstar and went after Jost, even though Kane try to deter the situation.
While Kane knew a penalty would be handed to Jost and tried to stop Domi from going after Jost, in the end he was appreciative that Domi defended him.
The reaction should come as no surprise, as Domi has a bit of his Dad in him, and has no issue dropping the mitts for any reason, but especially in defense of a teammate.
