It is expected that Connor Bedard will be an exceptional offensive player and could potentially change the game for the Chicago Blackhawks. The team has had other offensive talents in the past, such as Steve Larmer, who was known for scoring a significant number of goals during his rookie season.

However, despite his impressive accomplishments, Larmer's number has not been retired by the Blackhawks, nor has he been inducted into the Hockey Hall
of Fame.

Fans have taken to Twitter to express their disappointment, as it seems that Larmer has been overlooked by the Chicago Blackhawks with no real explanation as to why.

Throughout his career, Larmer scored 43 goals and 47 assists in his rookie season, and went on to have five 40-goal seasons while playing for the Blackhawks.

Despite his many achievements, Larmer's number remains unretired, although he is still one of the best players in the team's history, ranking fourth with 923 points, third in goals with 406, and fifth in assists with 517.

Over the course of his 1,006 regular season games between the New York Rangers and the Blackhawks, Larmer tallied an impressive 1,012 points.
