Players come and go, and sometimes one team's throw-away could end up thriving elsewhere.
The recent list includes a former Blackhawk and that begs to question, is a reunion imminent, perhaps?
Here's the waiver wire for today:
Ryan Carpenter played parts of three seasons for the Blackhawks. And he eclipsed three goals, eight assists for 11 points in 59 games. Before heading off to Calgary.
This season he had been playing for the Rangers up until today, through 21 games in the 2022-23 campaign, Carpenter managed one goal, two assists for three points.
