Penguins Announce a Major Turn of Events For Kris Letang
As most are probably aware Pittsburgh Penguins defensemen Kris Letang suffered his second stroke of his lifetime on November 30th and was deemed out ''indefinitely'' by the Pittsburgh Penguins medical staff, which sounded quite long-term.
This was saddening news for Kris Letang and the hockey community and many said their prayers for Kris during the tough time he is going through.
However, there has been a serious turnaround of events that have occurred..
Kris Letang hit the ice just six days after suffering his stroke and showed great progress with reports of there being ''no setbacks'' after the incident took place, many expected Letang to be back within a few weeks.
Well that has quickly changed, Letang was a full participant at the Pittsburgh Penguins practice today, on Thursday morning, and was seen sporting a yellow jersey- meaning full contact, and the same coloured jersey as the healthy players who fully take on practices each and every day.
Letang reflects on the incident and thanks the medial staff, ''I am lucky to be back to the normal life'', Said Letang, after he knocked on wood for good luck.
