Former Blackhawks Superstar Lays Motionless After Getting Steamrolled
Former Chicago Blackhawks forward Alex DeBrincat, now playing for the Ottawa Senators, was on the receiving end of a heavy hit from Florida Panthers forward Matthew Tkachuk in a recent game. The Senators, who are already eliminated from playoff contention, were unable to fend off the Panthers' aggressive play, resulting in a line brawl that ensued after Tkachuk's hit on DeBrincat.
While Tkachuk is known for his physical style of play, the hit on DeBrincat was particularly hard, and the former Blackhawks forward had to be helped off the ice. The incident further highlights the need for increased player safety measures in the NHL, particularly in games where there is little on the line.
