Former Top Prospect Leaves NHL To Play Where!?

There's been a growing trend that's definitely a cause for concern for the NHL.
When we were kids all of our dreams were to play in the NHL. However, of late many players have decided to choose other places to play including former Philadelphia Flyers 2016 first round pick German Rubtsov.
German Rubtsov has signed a one-year contract with Spartak Moskva in the KHL, instead of returning to the NHL's Florida Panthers.
Rubtsov, a 24-year-old center, was taken 22nd overall in 2016 had so much potential, but never turned into the top six forward he was projected to become.
