Tonight is a special game for Blackhawks fans and players alike as Marian Hossa's number will be retired during a special pregame ceremony.
The Blackhawks are playing pretty bad hockey as of late, making their 4 game win streak in October look like a fluke. The offense has been struggling and the defense has been miserable. They are 2-6-3 over their last 11 after dropping Saturday night's contest in Boston 6-1.
The Penguins shut out the Jets on Saturday 3-0, bringing their record on the season to 8-7-3. The Penguins are tied with the Montreal Canadians for the 4th Wild Card spot in the Eastern Conference.
Some players to watch tomorrow for the Hawks are Jonathan Toews and
Max Domi. Toews scored the lone goal for the Hawks last night in Boston and Domi has 4 points in his last 5 games.
Some players to watch for the Penguins are
Sidney Crosby and
Brock McGinn. Crosby has 7 points in his last 5 games and McGinn has 4 goals in his last 5 games.
Tonight will be special for the Hawks fans and players, which should bring some much needed energy into the United Center. Let's see if the Hawks can feed off of it and come out of the game with 2 points.
