If you were a fan of the Blackhawks in the 1980s or early 1990s, you've certainly remembered this name. Peterborough, Ontario native Steve Larmer will celebrate his 61st birthday today.
One of the players who made this writer fall head over heels in love with hockey, and the inspiration behind my pet cat's name, Larmer played in Chicago for parts of 13 seasons. In his career, he amassed 441 goals and 1012 points.
