Hockey Insider Reveals Islanders Offer Made To Nazem Kadri Today

It's almost a done deal that free agent forward Nazem Kadri will end up a New York Islander this season.
The Kadri to the Islanders rumors have been ongoing since The Columbus Blue Jackets signed Johnny Hockey.
However the price could be the issue from getting a deal done so far. Kadri was originally wanting $9.5-$10 million dollars per year but has since dropped it down to $9 million dollars confirmed by New York post Larry Brooks.
However the Islander are not at the number. According to Islanders insider James Nichols, New York Islanders General Manager Lou Lamoriello has offered Nazem Kadri $7M AAV for 7 years

Hockey Insider Frank Seravali would comment:
"I think (the #isles) put an offer on the table for Kadri. Other teams have told me they believe it's in the 7x7 range."
No word yet if Kadri has agreed to the deal or made a counter offer stay tuned...
