Horrifying Medical Emergency in The NFL - Game Canceled
Regardless of it it's a sport, profession, hobby or anything, the worst thing possible that can happen is seeing somebody get injured, nobody wants to see someone else suffer.
Sadly enough in last night's Buffalo Bulls game 24-year old Damar Hamilin stopped breathing and emergency CPR tactics had to be performed on him.
The NFL canceled the game until further notice. Reports surfaced that he went into cardiac arrest and was not breathing whatsoever. Thankfully he still had a pulse. The Buffalo Bills released the following statement, stating he is in critical condition.
Damar Hamlin suffered cardiac arrest during the game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday night, and remains in critical condition, the Buffalo Bills said in a statement on Twitter in the early hours of Tuesday.
"Damar Hamlin suffered a cardiac arrest following a hit in our game versus the Bengals," the statement said. "His heartbeat was restored on the field and he was transferred to the UC Medical Center for further testing and treatment. He is currently sedated and listed in critical condition."
We send our thoughts and prayers to the Hamlin family, and are praying for a healthy recovery.
