Insider Frank Seravalli Reveals Where he Thinks Patrick Kane Will End Up
Patrick Kane has been the highlight of conversations in regards to the direction the Blackhawks are heading in. The soon-to-be 34 year old is entering the 16th year of his storied hall of fame career.
Kane and Toews were both indecisive about beginning the year in a rebuild but both agreed to see where they go. If they do not like the looks of things then both players are massive trade candidates at the deadline, but it is Kane who will steal the show.
If Kaner decides he wants a trade, then he will be one of the most, if not THE most, prolific midseason trades in NHL history. But, where could the future hall of famer even end up if he were to be traded? Insider Frank Seravalli seems to have a pretty good idea of where he will end up; the New York Rangers.
The Rangers make a lot of sense as far as playing for a competitor with cap space goes, but there is another reason that may be the most important of them all, and that is
Artemi Panarin.
Panarin and Kane spent the first 2 years of Panarin's career together in Chicago where they were an elite duo in the NHL. Patrick Kane had one of the best years of his career while playing on the same line as Panarin in 2015-16 when he had 106 points (46 G, 60 A) in 82 games.
They were so good together because defenses had to worry about not 1, but 2, elite shooters in the game. They were able to set each other up on a consistent basis. Any Blackhawks fan could tell you it was a thing of beauty.
Kaner is likely to be shipped off at some point this season, along with other big names in the NHL. Checkout Seravalli's full list of bold predictions here:
