The NHL has had 37 video games released under the EA Sports name, but one of them holds this stat.
Patrick Kane, cover star of NHL 10, is the only player to win the Stanley Cup the year they're on the cover in the last ten years.
In that year he had the famous OT goal, where they couldn't find the puck, but found out it was in the back of the net. The Blackhawks beat the Philadelphia Flyers in six games to win the Cup.
Jonathan Toews then graced the cover a year after that, and Kane and Toews shared the cover for NHL 16 with them holding up the Stanley Cup after the 2015 season where Chicago beat the Tampa Bay Lightning in six games. However, Patrick was removed from the cover of the game.
