Intriguing Trade Proposition for Blackhawks Patrick Kane
It is no secret that Patrick Kane is likely to be dealt at the deadline, as long as he approves of it.
The Rangers are definitely the favorite to land the future Hall-of-Famer, so why not check out a possible trade between the two sides, via Dailydose Hockey.
Rangers receive:
Patrick Kane (50% retained)
Blackhawks receive:
Kaapo Kakko
Vitali Kravstov
2 first round picks (Star 23' and Rangers 23')
Kakko is a 21-year old forward with 15 points in 36 games this year for the Rangers. He is a solid young talent who will surely have more stat output if given the opportunity, as he is currently a depth player for the loaded Rangers squad.
Kravstov is a 23-year old forward who currently has 3 points in just 16 games this year. Obviously with the experience and younger age, Kakko would be the better option for the Hawks, but in this trade we are getting both. So, on top of the two firsts and Kakko, Kravstov is a great addition to this trade.
It sucks to be writing about this, but this would definitely be a solid trade for the Hawks. The only thing that would make it better is if the Hawks sign Kane in free agency in the offseason.
