It's the most wonderful time of the year, all of the holidays taking place as well as the World Juniors so happens to kick off in December each and every year. Young promising players get the honour to represent their nation and battle it out in hopes for a gold medal.

Yesterday, Team Slovakia faced off against Team USA and there was quite the upset- the Slovaks took the win by a score of 6-3, despite the Americans being the heavily favourited team.

The Americans frustrations started to build up towards the end of the game, the final seconds were ticking when a lot of havoc would break out. A Slovakian player laid a nasty cross check to the face on an American, which resulted in him getting kicked out of the game.

What happened next was quite interesting..

The Slovakian player was ejected from the game and on his way out it seemed as if he offered an American fan his stick, when the kid grabbed his stick, the Slovakian player ripped it out of his hands and shouted something, then took off to his respective locker room.

Quite interesting and sad at the same time as many kids look up to these teenagers under the age of 20 in hopes to be like them one day.
