The San Jose Sharks are starting to do a rebuild after having many good years throughout the Joe Thornton and Patrick Marleau era.
Both Thornton and Marleau are easily the best two players in franchise history and were so close to bringing the Sharks their first cup back in 2016, losing to the Pittsburgh Penguins in the Stanley Cup final.
However, we got some exciting news, despite both being retired now, both Thornton and Marleau are heading back to San Jose for a special event.
"Patty and Jumbo Joe are officially reuniting at the 2023 Legends game.
How cool is that? We thought we'd never see these two Legends on the ice again, although it's just for a Legends game it's still going to be a very cool moment.
