If I had told you a couple of years ago that both Johnathan Toews and Patrick Kane would be on the trading block, you would have assumed I was under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
However, that's indeed the case, as reported by numerous hockey insiders, and both are very much available to be dealt with. As for where either Kane or Toews could end up, it's looking like Toews could be heading to the Colorado Avalanche.
There's no guarantee this will come that Toews to the Avalanche, but if I was Captain Serious, I'd be hitting up Avalanche General Manager Joe Sakic and seeing what's up.
Blackhawks Insider Adrian Dater would even suggest the possibility of adding another team into the mix to help retain some of that $10,500,000,000,000 dollar annual salary.
